Why PTE Academic Society
Materials rebuilt for the post-August-2025 format, including Summarize Group Discussion and Respond to a Situation. We publish the real band numbers, per section, with the date they applied from.
Coaching, materials and support in Spanish and English. Exam terminology stays in English, because that is what appears on screen on test day.
Coaching aimed at a named band, not a general course. The diagnostic establishes the gap; the plan closes it; Speaking and Writing get the weight the new bands give them.
Real teachers marking real work. On the seven question types where Pearson now has a person mark the content, your feedback comes from a person too.
How coaching works
We establish where you are in each of the four sections, against the band your visa or admission needs. It commits you to nothing.
Your scores laid against the target, so you know which section costs you the band, and by how many points.
Sessions and practice weighted to the sections you are short in. Speaking and Writing carry the highest thresholds, so they usually carry the most work.
Written and spoken responses marked by a person until you sit the exam, with feedback you can act on in the next attempt.

What changed
Superior English is Listening 69, Reading 70, Writing 85, Speaking 88. Not a flat 79. Proficient is 58 / 59 / 69 / 76. Not a flat 65.
Describe Image, Summarize Spoken Text and Write Essay among them: a person marks the content alongside the machine. And Pearson scores memorised or templated responses zero for content. Templates alone stopped being enough.
Summarize Group Discussion and Respond to a Situation. Our materials were rebuilt to include both.
